We hope you all have had a fantastic Tet Holiday :)
This week, we've spent time getting the children back into their regular class routine. As usual, we had our splash pool session on Monday and Thursday, Library on Wednesday and music on Wednesday and Friday. Throughout the week, the children talked about their holiday experiences and we are very pleased to hear that they all had a wonderful time with their families. Some of them have also been asking their teachers, "How about you Ms ________, what did you do? Where did you go?"
In one of our carpet sessions, we've introduced the story 'The Little Red Hen'. The children were brilliant at repeating some lines from the story and are also beginning to respond to a number of questions. We have also been encouraging the children to share their ideas and ask questions during our story sessions.
How to help your child at home:
-Share a story with your child (ask questions, talk about familiar and new photos/characters, share ideas)
-talk about good choices and poor choices (both at home and in school)
-talk about the importance of washing hands and using tissue to clean nose

Please don't forget to bring in your child's swimming kit on Mondays and Thursdays.
School shoes
Please send your child to school wearing a sensible pair of shoes. NO CROCS please and shoes with shoe laces. Thank you!
