What have we been doing this week:

Christmas season has officially arrived in the F2 classroom! The F2 children were very busy this week preparing for our upcoming EYFS show called "Get Out It's Winter!", making Christmas decorations, learning and practising Christmas songs.

This week, the children also did activities about shapes and sizes. The children decorated a Christmas tree using basic shapes such as square, rectangle, circle and triangle. They also learned some Maths vocabulary such as big and small. The children enjoyed sticking and decorating their Christmas tree using different shapes! They also made apple juice with Miss Precious and we had it during our snack time. Yum! A big thank you to all the parents for coming to our EYFS Family Morning last Saturday!!

As part of our focus on Katy the Caring Dolphin, this week the children are learning how to take turns, play collaboratively, take care of our classroom resources and being kind to other children through group activities such as board games. This week, the children are supported and are learning how to play in a group through the different board games. The children enjoyed playing board games such as "Monster Muddle".

You better watch out! You better not pout! You better not cry I'm telling you why! Santa Claus is coming to town!!! F2 had a very special visitor and even dropped a special present for F2 this week. The children watched a special message from Father Christmas this week and was very excited to open Father Christmas' present which is a Christmas Tree! How exciting! The children had loads of fun decorating the Christmas tree with tinsels and Christmas baubles. We also started our countdown to the Christmas holidays and end of term break through our Advent Calendar.

The children have been working really hard as they sing, dance and practise for our Christmas production happening on 9th of December! The children have been singing different songs such as "Ten Tubby Snowmen", "We've a Snowman to Make", "Up on the Rooftop" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

Have a good weekend!
